A BRAND NEW WEEK!
The weekend was fun- our date to Lil Tampico was very fun. Just the thought of getting a little dressed up and going out was worth it all. We were somewhat disappointed in the Mexican menu.........we were looking for ethnic fair and got a very American version. The folks were very nice so all was not lost.
The folks at the Faith Community we see on sundays for church are starting to call us regulars! Think I might join the ladies for their tuesday gathering tomorrow. I will report on that later.
Today was bread baking day. Yet another receipe from the internet.... looks pretty fine as I just pulled it out of the oven.........small loves but smell really good. Homemade pizza for supper. One thing is for sure we continue to eat well.
The guys did start on the motor mounts today, which have to be redesigned. I will add a picture of the new panel Claes was working on.
I finished my fifth book last night. I think I will have to give you a report on some of these books! Wow! This one was amazing. I must admit I had little reference to most of these books I have brought along.......either picked them at random as the second hand store in Coutenay or at the sale table at Jacobs' Well but I have certainly been entertained with some amazing writing. I highly recommend any of them to you and would enjoy hearing your comments. I will begin the sixth book today: A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth which was highly recommend by Patricia Girard. (my niece and friend in Issaquah) It has over 1200 pages which will take a while to read and report to you!
Well folks should get the pizza ready. Thank you all again for staying tune in to this adventure. We promise the pace will change soon and the stories will provide a little more entertainment than what we are having for supper. HAHAHA!
