Still Nifty at Fifty

Ronald a tribute to you! Today my mind and heart are filled with happy memories of the past fifty years remembering the excitement of the first born BEDARD grandson.
I being only nine years older made you a friend not just a nephew.
You were a big brother, a fast hockey player, a enthusiastic drummer always eager to entertain as well as dazzle with your fancy dancing foot work. Always a hard worker you were never idle and excelled as a university graduate that became an incredible teacher and mentor. Life turned directions and you followed on to being a major business achiever, a fantastic husband and "father"..............and a most incredible loyal friend!

MEMORIES……….are made of this!

  I woke up today with a touch of a sore throat; not sick enough to make a request for light duty but uncomfortable to the point of not wanting to do much. I forced myself out of the bunk. You know how it is-- if you sleep during the day --night comes sleepless! Not wanting to waste the day sniffing and drinking tea .. i do prefer coffee……I attempted to keep myself busy with my chores. My interest quickly waned and I found myself at my desk……I began sorting through the small cupboard that acts as our filing cabinet.
