You have no idea how cool it is!

Tried all day yesterday on and off to get on to the internet to no avail.  Had a great day yesterday touring the little town of Port San Bartoloome............years ago there were a lot of turtles here hence the name turtle bay.

As first walked off the fuel dock onto the beach and up to the town we certainly noticed the aftermath of the 2009 Baha Haha, the 16th annual trip from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas by about 200 sailing vessels.  This week is another fleet coming through only they are motor boats  and it is called the  Foubar!  The little villages that get picked as stop off points make good money for a day that is for sure.  We were surprised that there was any fresh food to buy yesterday.  We did well being very excited about a head of lettuce, a cabbage, cream cheese and a few pieces of fruit. You have no idea how exciting it was to get cleaned up, put earring on and yes even a little lipstick!!!  We were like teenagers going out on a Friday night after being grounded for a month!!!!

We were very blessed that a couple that we had met in San Diego called us on the VHF radio and invited us along so we did not have to unload our dingy.  We walked around town doing our chores and enjoying  the walking and landed up at El Richards for a few cervazes and breaded shrimp which came with beans of course.   We had a great time socializing and enjoying company other than our "crew"!!!!  Ha Ha!  Those that have all the fancy weather toys shared that the seas will be calm for a few days with not alot of wind so we have decided to stay one more day............get some fuel which in itself will be quiet an ordeal...........did you notice the stairway in the pictures?????  My short legs had a difficult time reaching that first one, but my honey was there to give a little boost.

We are very well and enjoyed the first day of feeling the Mexican heat yesterday.  We still have nearly 400 miles to go to get to Cabos San Lucas and will likely do that in three day stints.........keep posted to hear the details.

Hope you are all well and look forward to you leaving a post below.  It is easier for us to read that then to go to face book when we do not have strong connections.  But we appreciate whatever news you send us and think of you all alot.  This is a perfect way for us to pray for you as some of the days and night watches especially are pretty long!  HAHHAH!

Captain says a big Hello and we both send lots of hugs!!!  Kisses from grandma to all of you of my grandchildren--extended families too.  Would love to hear from you.  Let me know what you are up to?????

Resting on the hook at Turtle Bay!!
