To Our Sailing Buddies


Friends who have left to sail on to the mainland and southerly destinations and beyond………..we have all been great comrades and had a grand time together learning and listening to the sea! We will miss you for now and look forward to meeting again.  As we part know that  we pray that .....

 



….. the waves rise gently to meet you, that
the wind always be at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face,

And rains fall soft upon your decks.
And until we meet again,


May God hold you all in the palm of His hand.

As we travel Panama   as in other  countries there are many many tourist spots  with "things"to buy and bring home  to you all.   Ahh! the decision are many  and can get rather difficult.   Sometimes the memorabilia is best bought with the person making the memory--if you know what I mean.  We do love to shop at least some of us. MEMORIES……….are made of this!

  I woke up today with a touch of a sore throat; not sick enough to make a request for light duty but uncomfortable to the point of not wanting to do much. I forced myself out of the bunk. You know how it is-- if you sleep during the day --night comes sleepless! Not wanting to waste the day sniffing and drinking tea .. i do prefer coffee……I attempted to keep myself busy with my chores. My interest quickly waned and I found myself at my desk……I began sorting through the small cupboard that acts as our filing cabinet.
