THE BEGINING OF THE END
Yes, our time is coming to a conclusion for this season.
Enjoyed an early walk to Cross Roads Church to meet with our faith friends after being away for over a month. It was great to see and hear that they are all well. The walk back was made quickly as it has begun to get very very warm even by 11 am. Stopped in to the Club to take in a work shop on "Making Bread in Five Minutes". Got a few great tips as this is the book that I have been utilizing suggested by my friend Rita in Comox. Thanks girl!
The evening was highlighted with a pot luck aboard S/V Iron Maiden with Laura and Bill. That is them on the right!! Thanks guys!
It was great fun to meet some new sailors: Chris & Jesse, Dean and Rachel!!!! Did some portrait taking and played some dice.........great time. The stories were amazing and ranged from swimming with 15 foot Manta Rays and a list of wishes of our boats!!! Iron Maiden is a motor sailer probably over fifty feet and equipped with all the amenities of a house!!!! Dish washer, washer and dryer and beatiful decor. Well done you two. Even though it was a late night we are up early and at the ready!
Today we are hopping a ride with Tony and Bonnita fro S/V Mandala to check our spot at the Singular Marina to confirm our next step as we make our way to "THE HARD".
Had a great visit with Tanya and Cole and Annika and a treat to chat with Greg on the weekend. We are sure are looking forward to their hugs.
Until later.........out we go to the extreme heat!
