HAUL OUT DAY

We left the anchorage in La Paz at 8:30 am yesterday with Tony from S/V Mandalay  piloting us in his dingy.  We arrived shortly after 10 and waited til the guys were ready to haul us out.  I took alot of pictures so you can see the sequense of that.  It was pretty awesome as we got to ride in the boat -wow what a rush!!!!

After being  parked on the cement in the boat yard  we began working on the final stage of putting "her" to bed!! ( Jan you gotta see the pictures of me making covers for the windows..........closest I can get to sewing! HAHAHHA). We probably worked till 8ish.............and after a great spaghetti supper  went for a shower and finally  fell into bed - it was a full day for sure!

Joey had been forced to stay aboard all day so when evening came he was very eager to walk down the ladder and check this out.  We are always so nervous about that but he continues to amaze us and just comes in and out telling us of all his discoverers.  This morning we woke up to him playing with a tiny little gecko..............poor little guy!

Hope that you are all well and getting ready to spend some time with us..............we have lots to catch up with.  Check out the pictures and talk to you tomorrow.
