WALMART COMES TO THE RESCUE

We are in the packing mode and the speed is picking up.
Early in the morning we left the dock in Tony and Bonitos little Honda SUV who spent most of the day driving us around to do  our errands.  What a blessing that was as it got up to 100 degrees again yesterday!
  Our tour including confirming with the Singular Marina on our pre arranged plans for the dry storage yard that we are using for the White Shell.  All looks great and they are expecting us to motor up the channel on Thursday around 10 O'Clock where we will be lifted  out of the water.  We  checked out  Walmart and were able to find the window coverings we were looking for:  the silver material that you use for your windshields which we will cut and fit into all the windows.  Claes needed some bearings for the self furler,  knew the address but it took us over an hour to actually locate the place.  By 2 we were all done in and eager to show our appreciation we shared lunch at Ranchero Vita...........a great restaurant just up from the marina.

By the time we got back to the boat the evening Curmel winds had started and were very much appreciated making the wheel house a comfortable spot to stretch and read.  Lunch had been humongous so we skipped supper.The evening was pretty mellow as we were just done in after all that running around in the sun!  we watched a movie and hit the bunk..........................Good night Irene!!!

  I woke up today with a touch of a sore throat; not sick enough to make a request for light duty but uncomfortable to the point of not wanting to do much. I forced myself out of the bunk. You know how it is-- if you sleep during the day --night comes sleepless! Not wanting to waste the day sniffing and drinking tea .. i do prefer coffee……I attempted to keep myself busy with my chores. My interest quickly waned and I found myself at my desk……I began sorting through the small cupboard that acts as our filing cabinet.
