Thoughts of the Day at The Bay

For those of you who know me I do appreciate a good chat about "things". (You can tell I must be feeling better.... I have not been writing much lately and yes I have missed it-You!)  I was inspired last night as we watched a borrowed movie from Lorraine, next door.  Julie Julia with Meryl Streep...........a good movie with an interesting presentation............based on two true stories.  The young girl Julie became a blogger whom I really related to.  As I have said before my blog has become my journal and my special way to communicate with you all.  As you all tell me so often and as I well know folks are so busy these days............not to say that is the best way to live but it is reality.

Had a lengthy conversation with one of my siblings the last few weeks and discovered that perhaps the "blog" has replaced my personal contact with you.  That saddens me as I so enjoy presenting the posts to you and actually put a lot of effort into most, with pictures and the opportunity for you all to comment if you wish.  Your pictures shows up on my list of followers so it feels like you are right there with me............it is the best set up that I can find to keep in touch with you all -at the same time.  ( I too get busy!) Also when we are aboard THE WHITESHELL  we have limited computer/internet time.

It is not that easy to provide content as you are not all interested in the same topics and I do respect and honor that.......or at least I try.  I will try to write personal letters to those of you who respond to the blog.......
Please write and tell me what you think..............my my have i ever got  carried away.  It does feel good though to be back on track....Please check out the new pictures and I trust that you look forward to more posts and exciting information.
My thought for today is very much along the line of what my friend  John Fisher of THE CATCH OF THE DAY writes in the following:

The message that's always true

Here is what the Spirit of God says to us: "Tell him I love him."

It could be to a friend recovering from bypass surgery in the hospital; it could be to a homeless man, smelly and half nuts; it could to be your husband just going out the door for a few groceries… and never coming back again; it could be to the lady who cut in front of you in line; it could be to your best friend, the one you won't ever see again who left the party early to walk home. For all of these situations, the Holy Spirit wants to have us "Tell him I love him," sooner than later.

It could be to the guy you cut off who is pointing to the sky with his middle finger; it could be to the lady who cheated you out of the last parking space; it could be to your kids lying asleep in the still of the night; it could be to the man who took you for a fool and made off with the money before the job was done. It's what the Spirit wants you to say: "Tell him I love him."

It could be to the man in drag in the gay pride parade as well as the hate-filled "Christian" holding a sign that condemns him; it could be to the neighbour on one side who keeps to himself, and the one on the other that you wish would; it could be to the friend you just met and the one you've known forever; it could be to the one who abused you as well as the one you abused; it could be to the one you owe or the one who owes you; the message is the same: "Tell him I love him."

The message will always be the same: "Tell him I love him." You can't go wrong.

Have a great day ...................Lue
