Mexico Celebrating Revoluecion Day

Just a quick little hello to check in and let you all know that we are well and all is going pretty well. Today we are heading in to watch the parade so hopefully will have some pictures later today.
Turn your Skype on in the morning and or in the evening if you want to chat with us.  We have internet but it does work when it chooses.  HAHAH   just like everything else here in this lovely part of Gods' world. (We are not complaining as we heard that there is SNOW  in our home land.)  Sorry about that.

    Yes...there has been snow here...even in Saanich - it is still sticking to the bushes and on the roofs, with a cold wind...but really it is only just around zero... so no reason to really complain. Enjoy the warmth, blue skies and hope the projects continue to proceed well.

  I woke up today with a touch of a sore throat; not sick enough to make a request for light duty but uncomfortable to the point of not wanting to do much. I forced myself out of the bunk. You know how it is-- if you sleep during the day --night comes sleepless! Not wanting to waste the day sniffing and drinking tea .. i do prefer coffee……I attempted to keep myself busy with my chores. My interest quickly waned and I found myself at my desk……I began sorting through the small cupboard that acts as our filing cabinet.
