PLAYING WITH THE TOUCANS

Check this website out to see what we were up to today!  Had a great time for most of the day walking, watching and enjoying a delicious cup of Miramundo Coffee grown here in Honduras.
The fella that owns this place is an American from Alaska. He and his brother in law started out with a few birds and are now involved in rescuing and raising these exotic birds.  It is a fabulous location and set up just perfectly.  They raise the birds as well as rescuing them and release many every year.  The amazing bit of info we discovered today is that the Toucan, the bird on the right mates for life and if and when its mate dies, it in turn commits suicide!!!!  Check their site and learn morn.
