SITTING AT ANCHOR AT ISLA CONTADORA

Spent the last week sailing around the Island del Ray, on to San Jose, Bayanetta and now full circle back to Contadora.  The time was spend relaxing and just enjoying with a few weeks left before we return to Canada we are truly taking some time to just take each day as it comes.  Finally, hey?  Funny that........no matter where you are one just continues to fill the days with things that have to get done.  LOL   Really though there are priorities on a day to day basis.  The Captain runs a tight ship. LOL

Looking back at the last few months my favourite times are those when we anchor and explore.  Like today,  we took the dinghy and motored off across a small opening between two islands, went to shore and just walked and walked and snooped.   Found a few pipsas, which Claes will drill, drain and serve as a refreshing Coconut drink, especially tasty when chilled.  The shells on the beach are so plentiful, many crushed and ground into sand, some partial yet very colorful.  I just cant stop culling them over and picking the best of the spot to cart back to the boat, wash and desand.  Some get tucked away to bring home to Canada, others used in some sort of decor on the boat.  After a few months I manage to re check them sorting and sifting and sending some back to the sea.  Sea glass?  yes, I have a growing collection.  Might bring some of those back this time too.  News out there is that customs does NOT like us doing that so time will tell.
