The Story of guy and gal!

Or as some call it fall.  We are busy making our selves comfortable in #1 - The Captains Suite here at Kye Bay.  Thanks to our boss Roz we get to finish our time in Canada in this lovely spot.  Check out our favourite link page to connect to the Resort website at  www.kyebay.com  See for yourselves and think about visiting this incredible spot on Vancouver Island.   This also means I am finished my part here at the resort of being "The Summer" Manager and have nothing but great thoughts and wishes to and for Jane Saunders who is taking over for the winter.  Her man Fred will be arriving sometimes in October as well.  Claes still has four more shifts to do at his logging truck driving job.  He ordered his fancy SSB radio yesterday.  Now he is beginning to get anxious to leave and return to his beloved   White Shell II.   Check out The Captains Page and if you have any questions post a comment and it will get read!!!!...

Ah...............I say this every year!  My favourite time of year!  Autumn! Opening the door I can feel  the crisp temperature; the baskets of geranium and mixed flowers remain  bright and perky and the grass freshly mowed yesterday wears a thick 'recovery' coat. Looking out -  the beach is very full and busy; hundreds of birds...............feeding and gathering  definitely expressing their views as they gather and depart -gather and depart. This morning the mountains are wrapped in a thick pillowed shaped cloud in a the beginning purple  shade of storm-- as we anticipate some rain this weekend.  Hmm I should move away from the warmth of the apartment to take a picture.
