THE RAIN HAS SUBSIDED!!!!!

Wow! It did clean up the court yard so we are thankful for that.  Got up early this morning and Joey and I had our morning quiet time on the front deck of #1 with coffee and The Big Book in hand.  Truly, a beautiful time just sitting and enjoying this incredible spot in paradise that we live at!.  Kye Bay is one of the most beautiful spots we have seen so far.......... The week is nearing and end and the folks are real troopers...........enjoying themselves in and amongst the rain drops.  Pot Luck was rescheduled to tonight so if any of you want to join us.............we will attempt to gather in the courtyard at 6 pm.  The more food the better right? Have a great day and know that you are on our hearts; always  far and near old and young ...Amigoes!!!!!

A FAMILY CHALLENGE -- ARE YOU UP TO IT?

Received this from my brother Paul today: "This past Sunday was a Great Day in our family. Started out by meeting Joe & Isabel for some worship time in church, afterwards enjoying breakfast together. Great family times I am having with my older brother and Isabel, this really started again in the past six years, but has blossomed more since then. But that is another story! The reason for this letter to all is, what happened after breakfast. Colette came for a visit with Ronald and Patsy, visiting from Seattle. Joe & Isabel joined us at our house. We had a great afternoon together ending with Pizza for dinner. What held our interest for this amount of time was hearing about the involvement Ron & Patsy have with the DANIEL IGALI FOUNDATION

SUMMER SIZZLES ???

You bet!!! It's summer and we are enjoying it!  Right?? Week # 2 at Kye Bay was estudpendo!!!  Everyone arrived safely and settled in rather quickly...as we watched the unpacking and unwinding we were reminded once again of why most folks come here.  The week began with the traditional pancake breakfast as a welcome time and Claes and I stepped right up and felt like we had never left.  The kids were outstanding!  So sweet and so full of Kye Bay spirit they glowed.  We/they played in amongst the wind and few rain drops that fell, still enjoying the beach and family time -hand in hand they sang and sat by the little fire - presenting us with a great Talent show one late afternoon.  High Tea of course was a high light, followed by a Festival of Games presented by Rob.   I could go on with the list of things that went on and I do have pictures to substantiate it all!  LOL  But you know my personal computer is giving me problems today...

WHAT A GREAT BIRTHDAY TODAY!!

A splendid weekend began with a gathering of all of our children and their children meeting at Crista and Dougs'. The trip that began on friday included Brodys Grad, our first meeting of little Patsy and was a  circle tour of the Island and Sunshine Coast to pick up my youngest sister, Angela. Sister Annette came  along for the first half of the journey where she continued  on at Maderia Park to visit old friends.  Her and I had a great time shopping along Marine Avenue in PR finding all sorts of treasures!!!  We returned home Sunday via Horse Shoe Bay where we met Kristy and Michael and Angie.......... exhausted but exhilaration we made all of our ferry connections to arrive home around 5ish.
