ME AND THE CAPTAIN AND A CAT NAME JOEY


You know Captain...... I think when I grow up I want to be a cook on a boat!
 

Yeah, well honey, don't look now but I think you are all grown up and guess what?

You are!!!!!

Well then, part of the last seven months have been worth it then. Here I thought it was just one big boat trip and now you tell me that at just about 60, ( I am younger than The Captain!)  
I'v gotten all grown up? Go figure! I guess I better take a closer look and see what that really means:

  • I could say it means being able to scratch off a few things off my "bucket list" you know the list that you might make if you knew you only had a short time to live.
  • I could say that it means being balanced: physically, mentally, spiritually –the whole enchilada!!!!
  • I could say that it means having knowledge in this world and the wisdom to make it a better place.
  • I could say that it means having friends, including family that love /like me in spite of knowing the real me!
  • I could say it means being the best person that God made me to be; living at the top of my form utilizing all that He has given me.
Now, Joey what do you think? Is that purrfectly perfect or what????

    Seems to me a remember that picture of you guys..Did I take that by chance??? What a young hansome couple...oh to be young again...

    Yes, you did take that picture. On our power boat on Powell Lake probably about 30 years ago!!! My how time flies when you are having fun!

    Yes.........we are looking forward to lots of visits this summer in beautiful BC!

MEMORIES……….are made of this!

  I woke up today with a touch of a sore throat; not sick enough to make a request for light duty but uncomfortable to the point of not wanting to do much. I forced myself out of the bunk. You know how it is-- if you sleep during the day --night comes sleepless! Not wanting to waste the day sniffing and drinking tea .. i do prefer coffee……I attempted to keep myself busy with my chores. My interest quickly waned and I found myself at my desk……I began sorting through the small cupboard that acts as our filing cabinet.
