put in an amazing 20 miles -left Santa Cruz around 13.30 today motoring on a calm sea with a very nice day of sunshine!  Joey and I had to work on getting our sea legs back as the swell was big but gentle.  We were all very happy to leave Santa Cruz.........it surely was a long  seven weeks but that is over with and we are on our way.  YEAH!!!!  Thank You God!  Talked with Ryan and Angus tonight............they are all home and very happy to be there.  He, Angus got  a new train so cant wait to see pictures of that.  More pictures are promised...........so until then check out the movie on my photo gallary onthe left. Spoke with Doug and Crista as well and they are all well.  It is so good to hear your voices so please tolerate the poor reception that we some times get on Skype.  It does our hearts good to just be able to hear you. Stella Rose Catherine was born a week ago and she is just so beautiful! Just see for yourself! Stella and her mom are resting in Vancouver as they await to see their doctor and the word that they can return to Powell River. Proud daddy Ryan and loving big brother Angus travel back and forth to check on the "farm" critters back home. Everyone is very anxious to get back home. Check out the newly added album on the left side bar in our photo album! Enjoy! Grandma Lue and Grandpa Claes

Still Nifty at Fifty

Ronald a tribute to you! Today my mind and heart are filled with happy memories of the past fifty years remembering the excitement of the first born BEDARD grandson. I being only nine years older made you a friend not just a nephew. You were a big brother, a fast hockey player, a enthusiastic drummer always eager to entertain as well as dazzle with your fancy dancing foot work. Always a hard worker you were never idle and excelled as a university graduate that became an incredible teacher and mentor. Life turned directions and you followed on to being a major business achiever, a fantastic husband and "father"..............and a most incredible loyal friend!   Love You RON!!!!!   Happy Birthday.......Sunday?   The best of wishes this weekend Ron in Surrey, BC as a major organizer and participate of the "Run" for the Daniel Ig...

( I was not feeling very chipper as I was in the middle of battling a cold but went along to please "my man"!) This being the winter season the Boardwalk is only open for the weekend subsequently it was pretty busy.  Folks from all nationalities and areas were eating corn dogs, garlic fries, having a beer and just plain having a great time with their families.  You can check the photo gallery for some pictures that I took and the link to see more details and history.  For Claes and I it brought back a lot of memories of taking our children to the PNE in  Vancouver and then finally our ad...
