SAILORS PLANNING DEPATURE

Image
To do list, list of parts to arrive, list of paperwork to prepare, list of folks to see........good thing we are organized!   Claes got home tonight and our weekend will be filled with final touches on many of those lists.  The weather has been incredible and is a blessing as we go through the paces of leaving yet one more season.   Wow!   This will be our fifth.   Incredible to say the least.   Must admit I am at peace and beginning to get a tad excited.  I am sure Claes is anxious as he has worked hared all summer.  Now Joey on the other hand is making his transition over to the BIG house with Doris and Brian.  Must be the nice warm fire they have burning over there and the beautiful big windows for the sunshine to fall through.   What a guy.  He will have a very comfortable winter this 2013.

SUMMER TYME IN OYSTER RIVER

Image
Ahhh!!!! settled and enjoying our lovely little spot of paradise here at Wimbledon Road, Campbell River.........north Vancouver Island.  Our wee little home is truly comfortable and affords us all we need:  privacy of a garden like yard, rural in flavor yet not too far from all the amenities of either cities north and south...do try to organize my days with minimal traveling to the municipalities.  So, calm and relaxing listening to the birds sing--robins, woodpeckers, eagles and even a dove that is driving us all to distraction.  LOL .  We are very content and so pleased to be part of this little community...............our new Faith Family at LIVING WATER FELLOWSHIP  is amazing and has welcomed us in making us feel like we have been here for ever.  Claes is working with a local logging company and pleased that though he is probably the oldest fella there he is setting the pace and pleased to fill his cruising account.   He lives ...

APRIL IN BEAUTIFUL BRITISH COLUMBIA CANADA

Image
Remembering how I love these beautiful BC mountains,  such blue skies and the ever green sparkle and freshness of new growth on the alders and maples is just stupendous.  Walking in Seal Bay Nature Park, flowing with ferns and spring flowers is so peaceful as I approach a  wood carved bench for a wee rest, I look up and up to the tips of the tall, thin trees that reach up to the sky...........ahhh what a great day.  It is good to be back!!!! Life is good and full with chores that get us closer to be organized once in again.  The RV fared the winter extremely well and Claes has but a few things to tinker with.  We bought a car so he has been playing with that too.  Replaced the "Serpentine" belt today. Out there in the sunshine he did come in once and comment on how his fingers were a tad cold.  LOL.  I spent most of the day "nesting"...that is what he called it. LOL  With a few pictures up and cupboards sorted out the place is b...
