Remembering 9/11


The folks have forgotten in alot of ways but are remembering today the many people who lost thier lives for freedom.  USA is very patriotic that is certain..........loyal, brave and strong.
Claes' day was filled with motor things.  I made bread and an apple crumble.  We had BBQ tonight  with a couple from Bellingham.  We met them in the last harbour we were at: Half Moon Bay.  They are heading south as well...........having left thier home in July travelling a similar route as us we had lot of stories to compare.  They are interesting to be sure.  Newly weds of a mere 10 years both are in their early 60's.  Don and Jacquie.
I scored a Jeep from one of the workers here at the repair dock so Jacquie and I will venture out tomorrow to find a laundry mat and do some shopping.  There is an art and wine festival on Sunday up the road in Capriola...........so after church we will venture out and have a day of fun.
I am including a few pictures I took today.  The peliquins are numerous and except for the fact that they are so unique and fun to watch they are nearly pests.  They are every where and very messy.
Great competition out there for the fish, the seals and the guys. It's crazy and rather noisey at night as the seals are everywhere in the harbour............under the boat.

    Good Job Claes..getting dirty again looks good on you,this reminds you what the rest of the world is doing...whaile your having fun!!! Paul & Linda got on Skpe with Joe's help,did they call you?? I think their Skype name is plinda77. We're going to Calgary today to that new giant Mall at Balzac ,suppose to be now the biggest in Norht America.

SAILORS SEEKING SECOND SIGHT OF PERLAS ISLAS

The last few months have certainly been filled with many enjoyable days and peaceful nights We arrived in Panama City in awe of the sight of such a huge skyline of massive buildings which is certainly impressive night or day.  Upon closer inspection it is just another huge city filled with business, malls and people....lots of people.  Some not so fortunate as the large areas of low income buildings is large and not safe to travel in.    Our time with Canadian friends, Roz and Dave was fantastic.   We were pleased that they enjoyed themselves so much and fell into "Sailing life"very well.  The White Shell lent herself to two more bodies on board and all was well. From what the pictures tell you we had a great time sailing to The Perlas Islands, exploring, swimming, fishing and just plain relaxing.  David did amazing things with the guitar and the fishing rod. LOL  It took us a few days to regroup after their departure...

PICTURES ---ONE IS WORTH A MILLION WORDS

Brother Rob and Sister Irene have reported difficulties in viewing the recent pictures of our adventure.  Just checked out to see if all is well and this is what I found: On the right hand side of the blog page you will see a list of pages that are offered on the blog for YOUR viewing pleasure.  As you click on each one of those pages you will find different topics.  Looking for photos you must go to the page entitled  OUR STORY IN FOCUS.  Click on that page and you should be redirected to our Photo Albums that are all saved on our GOOGLE ACCOUNT.  I have personally gone over each album and set it as being a PUBLIC view so you should be able to view the most recent pictures.  They are saved chronologically.  You will see the album cover picture and when you click on it you will be given options to view it as a slide show.  PLEASE TRY IT OUT AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU FIND. I have constant Internet right now...........a little modem by Digic...
