Boxing Day in Los Frailes

Good morning fleet!!!  Here we are after a quite night of home made enchiladas and a movie.  It was so good to receive emails from our girls and a few phone calls from my siblings and our most bestest pals in Comox  --The Mintons.  Brad sang us one of his brand new Christmas songs and lifted our spirits. God is so good to us!  Must admit yesterday was a pretty sad day on the WhiteShell.  It started out that way that is for sure..........the weather most of the day was cloudy and the waters full of a NNW wind--not enough to sail but enough to roll us around for awhile.  Our spirits were sad that is for sure and it took us all day to have them lifted up!  While on watch I listened to my IPOD to a speaker called  Andy Stanley (Junior)  who spoke about contentment and encouraged us to be aware of the moment and to live in it otherwise we are forever discontent and pining for what we used to have, or want........... after an hour of listenin...

Christmas Blessings to you all!

Having a difficult time writing as we are very contemplative tonight as we miss our family!! Good night!  Claes and Lue

Our favourite time of year is here again and you know even though there is no snow it is still time to celebrate Our Lords birthday.          Even Santa Claes knows that right?? Yesterday, I spent the d...

Beautiful trip back to Ensenada de Los Muertos  which is about 90 miles from San Jose del Cabos.  We arrived around 4ish anchored and relaxed as we waited for our delicious supper of fresh Sierra......a fish that Claes caught today.  It was great to get internet and to talk with my two sisters Irene and Annette and their spouses that are in Mesa Arizona. Both purchased park models this year. This is a new adventure for them as well and we are thrilled that it is going so well.  Brother Paul is there as well keeping track of them both so they are in good hands.  The only sad thing is that they will be returning to the cold weather Irene to Red Deer and Annette to Comox in the New Year. Tonight we will relax, read  a little and call it a night early.  Tomorrow there are alot of chores as we will begin to prepare for our company.  I hope to do a little baking as well.  Take a look at the libray list on the left side...........I finished ano...
