A FEW NEW INTERESTING PARTS OF OUR SAILING BLOG

Image
KEEPING YOU INTERESTED  that is the goal of our blog!!!! I am  not  a technical geek  but I am learning all the time.  We pray that the end result someday  will be a blog that will be  incredibly creative with audio as well as photographic depictions of our lives on   The White Shell II.   This lifestyle of adventure and newness with constant change  will be our story to you as  Cruisers and will  be our connection with you.

That my best friend and I can do anything, or nothing, and have the best time....

August 31 is the beginning of the thirty fourth year of our relationship !!!  We officially got married on that date & include in our yearly celebration "our meeting" in February-- seven years prior to that. That is when we first met and fell madly in love!!!  You bet the stars were brilliant and the fire works went off!!! The lights went on in our hearts!!! I will begin my celebration here on the blog with some comparisons of the happy couple:  Claes and Lue.  These  have been noted over the last few years-- did I say 34??

The Tillman Story

Image
A new movie opened this past week  that tells the story of the cover-up that surrounded the death of Pat Tillman, NFL star turned combat soldier in Afghanistan. Spurred on by the love of his country, the violation of its freedom on 9/11/01, and his sense of duty, Tillman forsook his lucrative NFL career and joined the army. He was subsequently killed in Afghanistan. The movie portrays the truth about his death.

A Birth Certificate shows that we were born..right?

How profound is that??? A Death Certificate shows that we died.   Pictures show that we lived! Have a seat . . . Relax . . . And think about that...... till tomorrow. Musing again...............Lue

FROM OUR WINDOW

I never tire at enjoying this wonderful world we live in--You? Lately the view displayed in radiant colors of the setting sun with a cover of haze from the hundreds of forests fires in our province; still beautiful as the after affects of such destruction.  The evenings are darker this week as there is a cloud cover of grey and cloud white sliced with blue of sky dotted with the sparkle of the stars that on cue shine their light for us each evening. This morning the view is calm with just a wisp of wind and still waters.  The tide is out and speckled with folks walking-- enjoying the early quiet of The Bay. As we sit this morning Claes sipping on his coffee and reading a book, and I back on medication attempting to manage this 'fever thing' I had a few weeks ago (enjoyed one week of feeling well - hey what more does one want???)  anyways it came back Saturday...                  ...
