SAILORS FULL OF AMERICAN TURKEY IN BAJA

Image
Over 250 folks served yesterday for Turkey Day.  It was well done and well attended.  Pretty warm to be eating such a huge meal but we managed.  HAHAH.

SAILORS SETTLING IN

Wow…….the first few weeks of our return to our floating home   has been pretty exciting!   We made it back into the water without any incidences and most things are going well.   It is amazing how well everything aboard survived   the last six months intense   heat; I found a couple of candles that had melted, no bugs anywhere.   Claes was frustrated with his little outboard for the dingy as even after leaving it well serviced would   not run to his specifications.   (Don’t think I have ever seen a motor that has stumped him yet but this little 2.5 horse Yamaha is being really finicky).   Sea Otter Jimmey, a fella here discovered a small little plug in the carb that was missing and voila it is working for   1500 pesos.   Since our dollar is doing really well that was a pretty good price.
