THE OCEAN IS SUCH AN INCREDIBLE COLOR OF BLUE!

Image
Not muddy looking at all.  The shallow parts magnify the color and as the eye moves out to the openness and waves beyond the color intensifies and the depth is represented with darker shades. Hopefully you can see what I mean with the pictures that I have been taking lately.  (I promise when we leave here I will upload them and you can compare--right now the fella that provides us with Internet has asked us not to work with pictures....so please be patient!) Speaking of muddy though....

SPRING IS ON ITS WAY.....

We just cant figure out when we are suppose to change our time?   We are on Mountain Standard time but will be crossing another time zone any day now.  We heard that the USA is changing on a different day than you all in Canada!  Oh dear!!!!  Good thing we dont have too many appointments to keep.  I will check it out today as we have internet.  You know I dont like missing anything so I best get this straight. Claes has been working on the teak wood trim of the exterior of the boat and is getting a lot of help from the wind today.  It is expected to get up to 35-30 miles today out in the Bai of Concepcion...........that is why we are anchored in the little cove.  The sound of the wind whistling through has become a soothing sound and is not nearly as disturbing as it used to be!  Imagine that-- I must be getting used to it.  Yesterday we climbed a trail that went along way up a mountain.  Yes, it was very high and you will g...

EARLY MORNING GET UP AND GO!

5:45 AM and we are underway departing Caleta San Juanico beginning a long day of probably ten hours of sailing to reach the Bahia Concepcion a 45 mile journey. The weather forecast if for calm waters so we will likely motor which is the time that we will make water as well. The day will be blessed with sunny skies so hopefully we will work on our coloring………….I don't like to call it a "tan". We are both careful not to burn and really do not sit for long in the sun but are managing to get a little browner. Claes teases me as he says my freckles are just getting more plentiful and bigger!!!

Just a quick note as we are under sail

and have found some free wireless.  Will attempt to write more later once we have set our anchor but just wanted to let you know that we are in the Bai of Concepcion at a little playa called El Burro. Talk to you later............oh, the weather is grand and it is about 75 today.  No clouds and enough wind to sail. Life if good!  Lue and Claes and Joey
