Good Morning frome Ensenada Mexico

After our grueliing day yesterday a nice fresh fish supper and hours of Skyping with our beloved family and friends.............that is YOU!!!! we had a great sleep. The Captain is a little concerned cause the price of wine here is pretty high and his first mate.......that would be me............is starting to drink beer.  Hmmm not sure if his sharing will go that far but we will see how much he really loves me hey???? We are getting ready to leave and fuel up and on to Puerto Santo Thomas which is a mere 22 miles and a good anchor for the night then on to Punta Colnet which is another 42: making a nice day of sailing if we are blessed with some winds.  This way we are travelling a reasonalbe portion of the day and not wearing ourselves out. So, that is the plan. We got a green light!

The day started early.................we were .off to the immigration office for  9 am and after many pieces of paper filled with form after form and standing in line, paying with paesos we received our tourist visas, temporary permit for the vessell and clearance with customs as well as recognition for arriving and departing.............all for a mere  three hours of our time.  But we are legal now and the WhiteShell II is now a Mexican vessell for ten years!!!!!! The rest of the day was spent at the supermarket to replenish with fresh thins. as we  hope to leave tomorrow morning.........not sure where or how far but we will carry on. It was so good to talk with you all on Skype..................let's try in the morning agian?? I am pretty tired so will cut this short.........just downloaded some more pictures and a video....check it out. Louise and Claes

Thank you for following us --it does our hearts good to know that!! Yes, it is very similar to RVing but cleaner and not so much traffic!  HAHHAH!  Never have a shortage of water especially now that the Water Maker is ready for the pressure test--tomorrow!  Up until now it has been very much like Canada being the US of A and even up till Ensenada.  Very modern and very commerical  all the way.  We are anticipating that will change soon.. gas in a jerry can and not much shopping until you get to Cabos San Lucas. Yes, it is our home and we love it! The Yanmar seems to be a very common  motor for most sailors these days.  It ran us over $25,000.00!!!!!  Any donations will be graciously accepted..........just talk to our Banker, our daughter Crista at the Scotia Banko!!!!  Hahahhah!   Yes, I am working on pictures of the White Shell II..  keep blog in and it will not disappoint!
