Thinking Tuesday

Thinking I have not written for a few days now.  Been busy you know!  Let's see what have we been doing?

    • Today,  I baked all day--it seems.  Made some foccacia and some wholewheat bread.  Executed a few changes in the kitchen that came to me in the middle of the night.  Don't you just love it?  You cant sleep for some reason???? and some  how you come up with amazing solutions to daytime dilemmas!!!  God is good!
    • Monday that was yesterday, right?  We drove to the south end of the Bay and visited the city of Monteray that expounds with  Spanish history.  It is a beautiuful harbour community that welcomes you to its  wonderful coastal weather and  hospitality.  The merchants on Fisherman's Wharf  were very eager for patrons and   very creatively offered samples of their menu, ie chowder, prawns.... attempting to entice you in.   Business was not very brisk.  We walked around and  had an ice cream.   (We had felt a little land bound I think  so this fed our need to go on a road trip. )  We were  very pleased to get back to the boat as Joey greeted us and  we all three  cuddle in for the night. He is slowly warming up to being a threesome.  He has  been very gracious all these years sharing us with Katie but is quite happy to have us to himself and stays close by spending lots of time with us.
    • The highlight of the day was getting a Skype call from Tanya, Cole and Annika in Royston.  It so warmed our hearts to see your faces, your smiles and hear your voices.  Thank you thank you!

Sunday: went back to the little group at the Rialto Theatre in Santa Cruz.  Nice folks..... fresh Starbucks with homemade pumpkin loaf...........hmmmm !!! Plus the message was so appropriate.  How  do you react  when someone says  "trust me".  Check it out you might find it interesting

    •   I painted the engine room. Need I say more?  I was doing really well until the last few minutes when the Captain asked me a question and I stood up and just lightly touched the ceiling.  Take note of the picture.

    • Tomorrow I hope to plant a wee garden.  Yes,  I am going to plant some spinach and lettuce.  I will let you know how that goes.
No, not lemons...lettuce.  This tree was seen on our walk the other day.  I am learning all sorts of uses  for  lemons, beside enhancing a  beer.........you can compliment soups, stews, fish of course and salades.  Let me know what other ways you use them??

    • Well, all...... gonna go work on the photo gallery as I still have not mastered that. Talk to you soon!  Thank you to all that have been signing up as "followers".  It is so gratifying to see your faces smiling at me............it motivates me to write cool stuff.  Keep it up!!  Remember I love you a lot...............but God loves you even more!
This is Lue and to some of you,  Louise, saying good night from California

      2. Sounds good........I actually did that the other day when I stuffed a little chicken.

Talking about gardens I just planted some lettuce today.......I'll keep you posted.

Suppose to go to 86' today. It stays pretty cool in side the boat so we are good to go. Mind you we are right on the water too.
