Been a while since I wrote........

Life here on the dock as you can see is pretty simple.  The progress on the motor is slow as we are not in control of how much works gets done...........so of course we do get a little frustrated with  the Good Lord helping us take turns at that so we are suppporting each other. (and not fighting). Claes is busy studying and making preparations to install the water maker.  He continues to help the guys here as well.  I, have mastered a very tasty Whole Wheat bread............... molasses and all.  I hope to buy some 7 grain flower to work with as well.  We finished off some of the fresh tuna tonight, that was marrinated in Kye Bay sauce so we are very satisfied physcially tonight.  Claes and I designed a busines like card to hand out to folks as when you meet other sailors they always want you communication info............so you provide a card.  We have a picture of the White Shell so it is rather nice........I will try and post it.

We have been talking with a lot of you on Skype and that brightens our days.  Thank you!  Spoke with Judy Collins tonight from Korea.  Amaxing isn't it?  She was just getting up.  Please call when ever you can and we will get to you as soon as we can.  We have had the internet very regularily since we arrive until this past Sunday...we lost connection.  After a day of "fiddling" with wires etc. we have now reconnected but there is alot of intermittent times.I finished by next book  "An American Summer", interesting novel set in 1954.  Again about relationship and what it was like in the fifties...........rather heart warming to be reminded of how I grew up.

Joey is doing exceptionally well.  He has his routine of coming and going in and out of the boat now that we are the "hard".  Learning to climb a ladder did not take him long.  He of course has made friends with all around the yard and is well known and loved.  He is learning to do tricks too.............so when you see him again he will entertain you!!

I should say good night and will write again soon to tell you about our walk along the board walk on Sunday..........and give you details for the photos I have added to the gallery.  Dont forget to check it out.

Night all....it has been good to talk with you.

Lue, Claes and Joey on The Hard in Santa Cruz.
