PLANS CHANGE -- THINGS NEVER SEEM TO STAY THE SAME
That is a good thing ...isn't it?
The weather is changing and we are enjoying warmer temps and clearer skies. The days are longer the morning comes earlier. The top dog did not win the Super Bowl last night................first football game I watched in its entirety since high school. In those days I guess the players were the attraction right? and the cheer leading was fun.
Our plans here in the Baja seem to very changeable and we are able to adapt quite readily and that is a good thing. This week we are making our way up into the central part of the Gulf of California as you know it........the locals call it the Sea of Cortez. As you look at the map there are many beautiful small islands islas that we look forward to anchoring by and enjoying the beautiful water and surrounding areas.............there are alot of shells to be picked and agats (stones) to be admired and fish to be caught -right Captain?
Not sure how much internet we will have so my reports will be stock piled until such time as that changes. I hope to read a few more books and finish a few studies that I have been working on. Time is rather melancholy these days as we head into the last two months of our adventure for this season. Time does go by so very quickly and it really is no different here then at home..............a lot of those plans you make change and "things" come up! Life happens! here on the Sea as well as on your street. Enjoy it!
Lue on a Monday morning!
Talked with Annaka, her brother Cole and beautiful mom, Tanya yesterday...........what a treat!

Hi you two,
ReplyDeleteWe just spent the last while perusing your blog; we so love hearing about all the adventures.Sad to hear you need to return but it sounds like its only temporary. A boat we're interested in has come for sale through word of mouth. Same year as yours, a Taiwanese built 41' called a 'Globe'. Needs some work. We're not well aquainted with the ups & downs of these boats. Any thoughts are welcome. All the best to you both!! Deb & Carl
Claes is the one that if knowledgeable about boats.........is this a sail boat? The reason I ask is that there is a power boat here at the moment that is a Taiwanese and it is NOT a blue water vesell...........so be careful. and know what your needs are. Lue
ReplyDeleteThanks for the birthday greetings..........our email was full this morning! We are finally back on line............
