BLOGGING, WHO WOULD HAVE FIGURED???

This blogging has become an integral part of my life!

….a gift to you, to you that are following us on this adventure. It is has afforded me the opportunity to put pen to paper so to speak an opportunity to express myself.
My ancestry originates in Europe: from France, Belgium, then the Americas, Upper Canada, across to the Alberta Plains, where I was born on June 13th, 1950 in Spirit River. How appropriate is that? When I turned ten my family moved on to beautiful British Columbia which became my home for the majority of my life. This lineage of adventurers has been woven together with my God given spirit to develop my passion: to explore and to expound!
Within my framework of reference : my heart and my mind, words have always been a part of who I am. I become alive through them! More precisely: words have become good friends; comforting  me  and affording me the means to press forward , often reminding again and again that I very much "need" them. They are a very vital part of me.      ( Some of you have heard me say before that words have got me into trouble but many times they, words have done the reverse!!!! LOL).
I trust that you enjoy the words I share and that at times when I do get a tad personal that you are allowing yourself to read on. My hope is that this adventure sharing is to you what I intend it to be:
  • an opportunity to see this part of the world through my/our eyes,
  • to come to know what sailing and living aboard The White Shell II is really like from a novices' point of view as well as one that is female. (I do attempt to have The Captains' input but you know him……….he is a man of few words.) He prefers to share in person
  • and lastly to offer you some incite into our lives.
We hope that you continue to follow our journey and  invite  you to write a comment once in awhile to let us know that you are really out there!!! We love to hear from you and you need to know that keeping in contact with you all is such a treasured part of this blog!

Thank You in advance,

Lue, Claes, and Joey on board the sailing vessel,
White Shell II!
