THANK YOU GOD THAT FRIDAY IS COMING!!!!!!

Whew!!!!!!!!!! What a week so far ehy?????  The Black Hawks, my team of choice these days is fighting for the NHL  STANLEY cup and  after their winning  game last night they are getting closer.  I so enjoyed that there were very few penalties.  What an enjoyable change.  You would have chuckled..............seeing me ironing yes ironing curtains for #8 with one eye on the TV and the other on the hot iron. It got pretty exciting a few times. Hey, it worked and got the job done.
Speaking of which we are in the throws of it these days even if the weather is not very cooperative.  We are getting units prepped for summer and the place polished up and waiting for our summer "friends/ guests" to arrive. Anyone out there want a winter job?  Really when we leave late October til we get back late April?   Live here at Kye Bay and enjoy the incredible peace of the fall season, experience  the winter storms and come alive to spring????   Really we are looking for someone to work with us.

Other than that we continue to receive emails and follow blog updates from some of you who are still out there living the dream.........cruising. 
It keeps us in touch and helps us to work to that end.  The last month and half has helped me realize that my heart truly is where my husband is and half of him is on the White Shell II................so that is the answer that I was looking for.

Best say adieu for today.  PLEASE  call, write, skype,  I dont do Face Book much..........but would love to hear from you all.  We are technically moving into the managers suite.  Know that we think of you often and continue to hold you in our prayers:

  • for those that are out on the water- safety and fair seas.
  • for those of you who are land lubbers -safety and fair weather.  HaHa!!!!
  • for those of you who are sick -complete healing!
  • for those of you who are young-direction and excitement!!!!!!!!

Try to REMEMBER going into the weekend can be a time of refreshment....it's up to you.

    Lue, I so love that you are a hockey fan. This has been a great year to watch. Such excitement!!! Hope all is well with you and look forward to following you this summer. Give our best to the Captain.

As we travel Panama   as in other  countries there are many many tourist spots  with "things"to buy and bring home  to you all.   Ahh! the decision are many  and can get rather difficult.   Sometimes the memorabilia is best bought with the person making the memory--if you know what I mean.  We do love to shop at least some of us. SAILORS SEEKING SECOND SIGHT OF PERLAS ISLAS

The last few months have certainly been filled with many enjoyable days and peaceful nights We arrived in Panama City in awe of the sight of such a huge skyline of massive buildings which is certainly impressive night or day.  Upon closer inspection it is just another huge city filled with business, malls and people....lots of people.  Some not so fortunate as the large areas of low income buildings is large and not safe to travel in.    Our time with Canadian friends, Roz and Dave was fantastic.   We were pleased that they enjoyed themselves so much and fell into "Sailing life"very well.  The White Shell lent herself to two more bodies on board and all was well. From what the pictures tell you we had a great time sailing to The Perlas Islands, exploring, swimming, fishing and just plain relaxing.  David did amazing things with the guitar and the fishing rod. LOL  It took us a few days to regroup after their departure...

PICTURES ---ONE IS WORTH A MILLION WORDS

Brother Rob and Sister Irene have reported difficulties in viewing the recent pictures of our adventure.  Just checked out to see if all is well and this is what I found: On the right hand side of the blog page you will see a list of pages that are offered on the blog for YOUR viewing pleasure.  As you click on each one of those pages you will find different topics.  Looking for photos you must go to the page entitled  OUR STORY IN FOCUS.  Click on that page and you should be redirected to our Photo Albums that are all saved on our GOOGLE ACCOUNT.  I have personally gone over each album and set it as being a PUBLIC view so you should be able to view the most recent pictures.  They are saved chronologically.  You will see the album cover picture and when you click on it you will be given options to view it as a slide show.  PLEASE TRY IT OUT AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU FIND. I have constant Internet right now...........a little modem by Digic...
