SAILORS SOMETIME CHANGE THEIR PLANS

You betcha!  and that is exactly what happened today.  We both hustled into town in the dingy to get at our list of chores ie  refill the propane, get our fishing licences and park passes plus get more pesos--  cant live without any of those items.  We met up with Kim and Rob  from S/V Keetya I. I clocked my trek to el banco and it took me just shy of 40 minutes there and back.  What a great feeling too to have a work out bright and early.  Yesterday, we worked on a second dingy that we wanted to purchase............an older one to use as a back up.  We like to be secure in that area as it is our transportation when at land.......anyways it had to be pumped up manually so we had a great leg work out yesterday. Too bad we did not video this exercise as it was rather hallirous as we un mystified the layout of the boards that make up the hard bottom of the boat.  Not sure which was funnier  that  or us towing the new grey dingy which we are calling "Gypse"!!!!

We are both feeling very agile and svelt these days.  Just over a month of being away and already we feel very good that our clothes are looser and our aches and pains disappearing.  Just mentioned to Claes the other day how peaceful and content I have been feeling lately. He agreed that yes, he had noticed and was also feeling the same peace.   No stress and just a great outlook on things.  You know:  focusing on what is at hand and choosing  the better way of tackling things, looking at things through new eyes,  stepping outside the box and looking around at the wonder of it all............checking  out the reality of our days and trusting that all is well and that one does have the choice of having a great day or not.

We have learned that we can not  do it all on our own but as a  team  we are making progress.  Gotta love the sailors life...not only fun but good for us and with Our Admiral in charge  The Captain and First Mate are doing fine!

..........back to Kim and Robs visit; after a lovely breakfast at one our local favorite Mexican restaurants we whiled the morning away chatting and sharing stories. These folks are from Victoria and are a very keen mechanical twosome so we had lots to share.  We will catch up with them tonight at the Jam Session and leave early in the morning. As it happens they have an anchor we need and we have fuel and oil filters to trade so it will be ameable for all. As you can guess we decided to stay ONE MORE DAY!!!  LOL Just as well as the Captain had a little sisesta and I got to write to you.

Again please remember to sign in with us if you are new followers,  try to add your pictures so we can see your handsome faces.  Leave comments for us as we love to hear what you are thinking and what your are upt to.....check our other pages--see the tabs at the top of the home page......check our photo  gallery and know that we love you all and miss you alot.  Take care and talk to you on Skype if you turn it on!!!!
