SAILORS SEARCHING FOR THIER WINTER CLOTHES

Three more sleeps and we are up early to fly out of San Salvadore city -making one stop in LA and arriving in Seattle around 1800 hours, where Ron and Patricia will meet us.  We are looking forward to a few days with them then will board the Victoria Clipper and sail to Vancouver Island where are good buddie Roz has left us her car to drive up island Saturday to Kye Bay.  JOEY   you better get ready we are on our way!!! little buddy.
Hope it is not too cold but we have our fleece packed.

The last week though busy getting ready to leave I was able to go over to the little island across the lagoon to help at the elementary school.  The picture on the left is the eight that were there that day.  There was a funeral in the village that day so most of the folks were at that.  These kids were amazing!  Just loved us being there and were full of smiles.
We worked on numbers and four of them played "Fish" with me.......or me with them.  LOL  It was great.  Now of course I want to stay.  The rest of the week
has been filled with preparing the boat for the summer, here on a mooring ball.  The young man Santos who will be looking after the boat was over today for a run down and The Captain feels assured that all will be well.  It will be hot and humid so the agreement is to ventilate the interior once a week.  Right now it is very warm and very humid.............nearly unbearable for us northerners.  All is good and now that we have our minds made up....................we are coming back to Canada for the summer.  Wow!  Time sure has gone quickly.

The internet is not very consistent these days so not sure if you will hear from us again.
SEE YOU SOON gotta go join the others for Happy Hour in the Pool

  1. Have a safe journey back home! It's bittersweet to leave our cruising homes isn't it, after all the special moments this season? We've just arrived back at Singlar, Guaymas today and will be putting Intrepid to bed as well - hope to catch up with you back home!
