WHAT A GREAT BIRTHDAY TODAY!!

A splendid weekend began with a gathering of all of our children and their children meeting at Crista and Dougs'. The trip that began on friday included Brodys Grad, our first meeting of little Patsy and was a  circle tour of the Island and Sunshine Coast to pick up my youngest sister, Angela. Sister Annette came  along for the first half of the journey where she continued  on at Maderia Park to visit old friends.  Her and I had a great time shopping along Marine Avenue in PR finding all sorts of treasures!!!

We returned home Sunday via Horse Shoe Bay where we met Kristy and Michael and Angie.......... exhausted but exhilaration we made all of our ferry connections to arrive home around 5ish.
Life is so filled with blessings-too many to count.  It was so pleasing to watch all the grandchildren interact and enjoy each others company.

This morning upon waking I praised God for just that:  my life filled to the brim and overflowing!!!!

My girl friends joined me for  a fantastic lunch at a new restaurant in Courtenay called COMMON GROUND CAFE--incredible decor, great soup and special company................all  inclusive with bouquets of flowers.  This evening my darling husband cooked Angie and I a tasty supper of fresh fish, crispy greens and special potatoes.  The  shared Cherry cheesecake with our friend and neighbour Lillian  was decked  with fancy poke-a-dot and stripped candles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  The beautiful leather Aldo leather clutch purse-pink even- Angie gave me is such a precious gift.  You know we have not celebrate our birthdays together for many many years.  Wow!  what a super one today!  With all of my siblings calling or sending cards today I am so happy on this my birthday.

My one wish was that the Canuks would beat the pants off of the Boston Bullies....but no it was not to be. We look forward to Wednesday now for one more game to capture the Stanley Cup!!!!!

Good nite all and thanks for all your best wishes!  This year will be yet another fantastic one I am thinking!

Louise Marie,  older wiser and happier!
