A FAMILY CHALLENGE -- ARE YOU UP TO IT?

Received this from my brother Paul today:

"This past Sunday was a Great Day in our family. Started out by meeting Joe & Isabel for some worship time in church, afterwards enjoying breakfast together. Great family times I am having with my older brother and Isabel, this really started again in the past six years, but has blossomed more since then. But that is another story!
The reason for this letter to all is, what happened after breakfast. Colette came for a visit with Ronald and Patsy, visiting from Seattle. Joe & Isabel joined us at our house. We had a great afternoon together ending with Pizza for dinner. What held our interest for this amount of time was hearing about the involvement Ron & Patsy have with the DANIEL IGALI FOUNDATION

Ron has just returned from Africa, showed us a DVD of the school he is a director for, shared with us the work they have done, in the middle of nowhere, shared the concerns, and the progress of growth and future plans, for this school. It is truely an amazing undertaking.
Ron and Patsy give their time freely, for this great passion they have to help in education of children.
I don’t know about each of you, but I’ve tried to figure out how Linda and I could do things of value to make a difference in this world. Yes we have done a few things, and I know many of you do as well. Ron and Patsy have done, I feel; MUCH. Very passionate, with hands on experience, over the past six years.
I knew about Ron’s involvement with the Olympian Daniel Igali , but I had no idea what the involvement was. Maybe some of you already know about Ron, and maybe Linda and I were just behind the times. Sorry.
So if you were in the dark like us, we would encourage you to check out the website: www.igali.com
be sure to click on all the links, you will see members of Ron and Patsy’s family
Check out the link to the 5k fundraiser, you will see other family members, Rene and Louise Girard. Also find the pictures of the CANUCK cheer from Africa. That is OUR family member in the top left corner. Ron paid his own way to Africa, to support a cause he is very passionate about. Ron shared with us that the school he helped with the building six years ago now needs a paint job.

Joe and I offered to go paint. We do have lots of experience, But!So this is my thinking, as a family, I think we can make a difference. Ron says he has a quote and a commitment to the school to raise the $3500.00 needed to paint. But I think as a family, we could strive to do more perhaps $5000.00 together, right? Lets help him out in a BIG way guys. Please talk to all your kids, grandkids. Instead of buying our kids and family Christmas presents; lets send to the IGALI FOUNDATION  Check out the website to give online through your credit card.

If the above link does not work please note under our tab called Favourite Links you will find the Igali Foundation.  Trusting that this is accepted in the manner that it has been sent.........in the

Spirit of Giving to those that are underprivileged !!!!

Or there is a mail in address for cheques.
All donations of $100.00 will receive a tax receipt.
We must have.... 100 members in our family and if each gives $50.00 ....... $5000.00 is possible!
Linda and I will start. Please help too.
As we do not have all the families email addresses, we would appreciate if you would forward this along to all your respective children and grandchildren. It would give everyone the knowledge of what Ronald and Patsy are trying to do.
Please also reply back with any of your thoughts, and comments.
