WHITE SHELLS' FIRST MATE BACK AT HER BLOG STATION

It has been a long time my friends!!!! We are back!!!! It felt so good to be back to familiar faces and so assuring to see them all safe and dry!!!! We were relieved to be able to stay on the White Shell from the onset, though She needed a lot of cleaning. More on that when I will elaborate later on The Captains Page. Keeping in mind that a major factor to all this “work” is the temperature. Yes, I know for the most part you all are not wanting to hear about that: it certainly impacts how much work one can get done in a day. We are finally adjusting and beginning to enjoy the climate; the rain has stopped, less humidity and the wind has picked up which affords a nice breeze mainly in the evening. We had a week of incredible thunder and lightening storms……….reminded me somewhat of the storms we had in Alberta when we were kids Brother Paul!!!! Actually pulled up the blanket half way through the night the last few nights………………and turned off the fans!

Now that is another story. We brought four awesome Caframo 748 Bora fans this season.

Well it was 5:15am and a darn mosquito woke me up this fine El Salvador morning. My internal clock was reminding me that we are taking another bus trip today. Off to San Salvador City to purchase our bus tickets to travel to San Jose Costa Rica for Christmas with the Gerardo Murillo Cuza family!!!! We are so excited. It has been over ten years since we saw them. Hoping to leave here December 10th and will confirm later today if we are successful in the city. Should close for now………..enjoy this picture I took of Crista and Doug and their boys before we left. It was the weekend of all Spooks Day so Bradon was dressed up…………..we so enjoyed them all. Thanks to the Boese Familia!!!!!! Stay tuned for Season Number Three aboard the White Shell II………more adventures to come!
