WHITE SHELL II IS FINE AND REUNITED WITH CAPTAIN AND FIRST MATE

Oh,my how good it is!!!!  To sleep in ones own bed!  The Captain and I had a great sleep and a fantastic day just being lazy aboard our beloved floating home.  Spent the afternoon by the pool and started the next layer of our tans.  Saw two vessels leave the bay and one arrive:  Toulofa with Ronnie and Captain Cactus left for Panama as did La Palmora...........with a family of three arriving from the USof A.........on S/V Avalanche.  Listen to the Amigo SSB net tonight and heard that a few more vessels are making their way down...........we figure we have another month of enjoying the pool to our selves> LOL

Life is good!  Updated the photos again so please enjoy the latest.  Talk to you soon on Skype.  When the computer is on so is Skype so would love to chat.  Love ya and have a great Day of Rest tomorrow.

    Thanks Irene for pointing that out to me. I made a mistake and selected private instead of public so you could not see the pictures and there are a lot of new ones. Please try it again and let me know if they are visable. Again, tanks!!!

As we travel Panama   as in other  countries there are many many tourist spots  with "things"to buy and bring home  to you all.   Ahh! the decision are many  and can get rather difficult.   Sometimes the memorabilia is best bought with the person making the memory--if you know what I mean.  We do love to shop at least some of us. SAILORS SEEKING SECOND SIGHT OF PERLAS ISLAS

The last few months have certainly been filled with many enjoyable days and peaceful nights We arrived in Panama City in awe of the sight of such a huge skyline of massive buildings which is certainly impressive night or day.  Upon closer inspection it is just another huge city filled with business, malls and people....lots of people.  Some not so fortunate as the large areas of low income buildings is large and not safe to travel in.    Our time with Canadian friends, Roz and Dave was fantastic.   We were pleased that they enjoyed themselves so much and fell into "Sailing life"very well.  The White Shell lent herself to two more bodies on board and all was well. From what the pictures tell you we had a great time sailing to The Perlas Islands, exploring, swimming, fishing and just plain relaxing.  David did amazing things with the guitar and the fishing rod. LOL  It took us a few days to regroup after their departure...

MEMORIES……….are made of this!

  I woke up today with a touch of a sore throat; not sick enough to make a request for light duty but uncomfortable to the point of not wanting to do much. I forced myself out of the bunk. You know how it is-- if you sleep during the day --night comes sleepless! Not wanting to waste the day sniffing and drinking tea .. i do prefer coffee……I attempted to keep myself busy with my chores. My interest quickly waned and I found myself at my desk……I began sorting through the small cupboard that acts as our filing cabinet. Yes, reminding me of the past  boat rule: all items must have two purposes which now  applies to our land home……here in the Comox Valley.   As I thought  of past years piled high within these  files of book work and accounts for our lives i managed a smile and reached  into the back section of the  cabinet.     I knew there was one file that held no numbers;  this plain ivory colored manila folder secured wi...
