SLEPT LIKE TWO VERY CONTENT SAILORS

We are checked in and have confirmed that the weather is good right through the weenend.  Will spend the day making water, polishing the "diesel",  hopefully re provision with fresh things in the little town here.  Might even talk my self into doing some laundry..........I do have a good book that is calling me...............begining to  relax as you can see.  Still some chores that have to get done first though.   We run a clean Ship...........LOL  Had a great supper last night of filet minion and are reenerized after a few days of passage.  We were  out  of shape and needed to reconnect with our boat and all that goes with sailing.  Starting to feel good again.  LOL  Just like riding a bike LOL

The sun is shining and we are getting accustomed to the breezed that kickup during the day here in this part of the Pacific....not too intense but does twirl us around our anchor.   It calms down in the afternoon so we will go ashore then.  The night was awesome..........rocked us to a gentle sleep.  God is good providing all we need and The Captain continues to amaze me as he deals with many of our challenges.  I am feeling good as well and we are laughing and enjoying our day...........so far.  What more could we want????  ( You???)

SAILORS SEEKING SECOND SIGHT OF PERLAS ISLAS

The last few months have certainly been filled with many enjoyable days and peaceful nights We arrived in Panama City in awe of the sight of such a huge skyline of massive buildings which is certainly impressive night or day.  Upon closer inspection it is just another huge city filled with business, malls and people....lots of people.  Some not so fortunate as the large areas of low income buildings is large and not safe to travel in.    Our time with Canadian friends, Roz and Dave was fantastic.   We were pleased that they enjoyed themselves so much and fell into "Sailing life"very well.  The White Shell lent herself to two more bodies on board and all was well. From what the pictures tell you we had a great time sailing to The Perlas Islands, exploring, swimming, fishing and just plain relaxing.  David did amazing things with the guitar and the fishing rod. LOL  It took us a few days to regroup after their departure...

MEMORIES……….are made of this!

  I woke up today with a touch of a sore throat; not sick enough to make a request for light duty but uncomfortable to the point of not wanting to do much. I forced myself out of the bunk. You know how it is-- if you sleep during the day --night comes sleepless! Not wanting to waste the day sniffing and drinking tea .. i do prefer coffee……I attempted to keep myself busy with my chores. My interest quickly waned and I found myself at my desk……I began sorting through the small cupboard that acts as our filing cabinet. Yes, reminding me of the past  boat rule: all items must have two purposes which now  applies to our land home……here in the Comox Valley.   As I thought  of past years piled high within these  files of book work and accounts for our lives i managed a smile and reached  into the back section of the  cabinet.     I knew there was one file that held no numbers;  this plain ivory colored manila folder secured wi...
