The list of wishes is out on the desk, with Google search results listed as we begin the month of preparations to return to our beloved White Shell.  This list is actually rather short, which is a good thing. LOL  Begining the fourth season of our Cruising life  we are encouraged with that;life is very simple for The Captain and I.  The joy is that each season brings us even closer to this simplified life we now crave.  Purchasing the Hurrican 'THORE' motor home was/is brilliant!!!!  We now have our own Canadian Home and storage place for our personal belongings for the sailing season.  All for very little money and tons of comfort and enjoyment.  (The Captain says he is very comfortable as we speak as he lives in it and works in Boston Bar....I am off to visit him next shift change so will report back.) The list?   I will publish that later as I must sign off for today and join my good friend Lillian -Joeys great aunt...........off to...

AHHH............. I LOVE THE AUTUMN, crisp morning air, colors of bright orange and yellows sending everyone to scurry off and bring in the harvest.  Be it your home grown tomatoes or home spun yarn- knit sweater, needing airing after being tucked away all summer.... it is time to prepare for yes another season.  And for us we are nearly finished with the month of putting Kye Bay away and hauling out the duffel bag to pack and GO back to our beloved White Shell.  Our return flight takes off early the morning of November 8th 2012.   Trusting that you will come along for part four of the journey aboard............please come back regularly as we we update the pages and set off! the two sailors,  Lue and Claes

AUGUST -8-12   Early morning catching up on all the blog news...........our friends continue to sail, our family continues to be busy and we continue to believe that today is the best day yet!!!!!  Half way through our Canadian summer and we are beginning to think of our flight on November 8th to bring us back to our beloved White Shell and the fourth season of our life aboard. Yes,  I guess at heart we are part gypsy!!!                Cant wait to pull up anchor and set sail...........after a few weeks of maintenance and provisioning it will feel fantastic to have that wind in our face.  Looking forward to it for sure.  Plans are tentatively made to leave the estuary as soon as that is all done and make our way towards Nicaragua.  Hope to spend some time there exploring and then on to Puntaranas Costa Rica for Daniel's wedding in early January.............The Lord knows the...

Wow!!!  What an incredible month it has been!    With the help of my main man- Claes we managed to get everything in order to open the 2012 Season at the Resort...........Kye Bay Beach is the little Jewel of the west coast of BC. The Official Week #3 folks arrived promptly on Saturday and  filled the cabins with their usual love for the Bay.

The sun is shining this fine summer morning!    It was an early one as The Captain left in the wee hours for the Nanaimo ferry to get back to his shift for West Park Inc  in Boston Bar........as part of a team that is installing a hydro line........Good on you fellas providing more energy for folks.  Joey and I are  here at the Kye Bay Resort holding down the fort:   check out the photo albums to view for yourself all the fun our guests are having.  Week Three has begun filled with sunshine, freezies, sandcastles and renewing friendships.  Ohhh  that Kye Bay Spirit there is nothing else like it.  Thank YOU, God for providing such an incredible spot for us to enjoy the summer and all these fine folks. Angie, my youngest sister also blessed us with a visit..............more pictures of that as well. Will chat again soon.............as I get into my summer mode.  All is well here at The Bay.  Wish you were here too......

Now how do I get these out of there? LOL    Your IPOD full of your favs... tunes that is?  Now those e-books are something though?  Not sure how I will transcend to them...........love my books.  Check the Flicks Page to see some new reviews just posted today.  Well I bought a new DVD today. It only cost me 19 bucks cause all I wanted was a simple plain machine.....something to watch a movie right. ...
