DEPARTING TENACATITIA BAY TODAY

Just across the Bay is La Manzanilla, a little village filled with Canadians mostly.  Friends Pat and Mike Sutcliff from Comox are wintering there.  Hope to see them this week as we will anchor in Malaque, which is on the same side of the mainland and alot closer............easier to commute.  Some of the fine folks that we met along the way are either ahead of us or not far behind.  Everyone has their own agenda, if in fact they have one.  Cruisers tend to be very non structural people until it come so their vessel. All is well, sea is calm sun is getting hotter and there is no wind to speak of.............that is the only bad thing if there if fact is anything amiss.  Check for new pictures in the next few days and an update on the tabs. Roz should be here by Saturday.................safe travels girlfriend. Lue

We are actually at the north end of the bay and at the upper end is La Manzanilla and around the corner is Barra de Navidad --a mere 6 miles away. We took a cab with 8 other folks yesterday and spent a good part of the day at the market.  Great fun!  Took a panga back by water. We are nearing our rendevouz with Roz...she departs Victoria on the 25th. Safe travel dear friend--sure hope Angie is coming along as well!!!!! Last night was our first Raft Up party and what a hoot that was.  Good friends, good food and good music. Gotta love it!  Picture the right. Today is Boat Chores day.  A little cleaning, a little airing of the bedding and then to the beach for Beach Volley Ball.............Claes' favorite!  Please note Our Family Tab for recent Familia stuff..................someones' birthday soon.  More pictures in The Photo Gallery and a note that our internet will be unavailable for the next few days.  It is time to recharge and that c...

Top of the morning to ya'all!    Got some cinnamon buns in the oven, fresh coffee on the brew and we are off to yet another Bahia around the corner.  Not sure how the internet will be so just giving you a heads up that we are nearing Barra de Navidad, which is just south of  Manzanillo.  Hope to meet our dear and good friend Roz and her friend Angie there around the 28th............keep checking for some interesting sights and sounds as I am sure we will tour around. Adios, until then.

TIME TO CHECK THE CAPTAINS PAGE

After spending the day anchored in beautiful and peaceful Bai Chamala we will have an early supper of Mexican shredded beef with a touch of onions and green native peppers over a bed of rice of course.........with a side of mixed salade.  Hmmm can hardly wait!   I found a Mexican beer sin(without) alcohol so I am off to have that with a twist of lime.  Do check out the Captains Page and the Flicks and Pages and Galley Tabs have new entries as well. Tomorrow see pictures of this incredible beach.  Good Nite.   Lue

THE CAPTAIN CAUGHT A BEAUTIFUL YELLOW TAIL TUNA !!!!

Weighed anchor yesterday morning, January 6th and that would be a Thursday --left  Chacala around 7 oclock and made our way towards Bahia Banderas (Bay of Flags) , the largest bay on the west coast of Mexico which has  about a  20 mile opening. Unfortunately, we had no wind so we motored all the way, which give us the opportunity to make water and top our tank up.  Again, it was a blessing at the end of the day to have a nice hot shower.
